AXA China Region Insurance Agent Annie Mok is Helping People Avoid Financial Losses with Insurance
There is no denying that life has many uncertainties that can suddenly take someone aback both emotionally and financially. This includes medical emergencies, accidents or damage to a vehicle or property, and even untimely death – all of which can drain a person’s entire life savings in an instant. Having experienced being in unfortunate situations like these is what motivated Annie Mok to become an insurance agent and help other people protect their families, assets, and themselves from financial losses.
Before becoming an insurance agent for AXA China Region Insurance Co. Ltd. in Hong Kong, Annie went through a rough 10 years with a few of her relatives getting diagnosed with cancer one after another, including her father who got bowel cancer. After getting him to take a MRI and consulting a private doctor for him, Annie was advised by the doctor that the operation fee would take about 0.3 million HKD. On top of that, if he needs more doctors’ help during the operation, then the operation costs will be more. And since he didn’t buy medical insurance, the most affordable option was to do the operation in a government hospital.
When the operation didn’t go well as expected, Annie had to see her father go through two more operations in a short period of time, which only added to their increasing hospital bills. From that experience, Annie decided to join the insurance field and sell medical plans to more people – so they have the right to choose their desired hospitals as well as their doctors when they are ill.
For the past 5 years, Annie has been providing insurance, investment, and retirement solutions like saving plans, medical plans, critical illness plans, fund plans, and MPFs, among others.
