Lori McNeil Selected for IAOTP’s Empowered Woman Award
Lori McNeil, Founder of Lori McNeil International, Multi-Award-Winning Business Strategist and Coach, International Educator, Speaker, and Author, was recently chosen to receive the Empowered Woman of the Year Award for 2023, given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). Her exemplary role as a female entrepreneur and talented professional displays her influence, capability, and proficiency.
Inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) is an honor; only a few women are chosen for this distinction based on their years of experience, professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, and contributions to their communities. Ms. McNeil will be honored for this distinction at IAOTP’s 2023 Annual Awards Gala.

With over 25 years of experience, Lori is a dedicated International Business Strategist and Branding Specialist who coaches individuals and businesses to be more successful through a vision and goal-setting process. She is goal-oriented and driven to help others uncover their abilities and cultivate what they need to achieve greater levels of success, assisting people to achieve their objectives and creating the life and business they desire. Lori, who has worked in both the public and commercial sectors, assists new firms in growing and established enterprises in re-strategizing. As a Curriculum Designer and Business Professor, Lori has assisted in the organic growth of hundreds of enterprises (including her own company that includes Legacy Builders, Media Secrets, and Driven Mastery—brands that help Entrepreneurs build a genuine, long-lasting purpose).
Lori emphasizes the power of media and branding strategy. Media can be used in many ways to build a business, but understanding how it works is essential for success. A media plan should be created and implemented strategically as an integral part of the overall business plan. Many clients think they are successful without the use of media, and Lori helps them understand how much more successful they could be with the use of media. Her strategies help good businesses become great. Most business leaders must realize that their Media Plan, Branding, and Business Plan must be crafted and utilized as one cohesive plan to build the foundation for success.
Lori has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in many fields. She is a dynamic, results-driven leader who has demonstrated success in every role she has ever served. She has vast experience instructing students of all ages. Her experience includes being a business professor and curriculum designer. She was a music teacher at the elementary level. She taught in prisons, alternative schools, junior high, high school, circuit, and justice court programs, unique community-based Continuing Education programs, and adult learning programs for business professionals.
Before embarking on her current career path, Lori received a Bachelor’s degree from Northwest Nazarene University and Eastern Oregon University. Ms. McNeil has an MBA from Corban University and Masters of Education from Bushnell University. Additionally, she has Ed.S Education in Instructional Innovation and Technology from Liberty University.
Throughout her illustrious career, Lori has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to serving others. Earlier this year, she received IAOTP’s Top Business Strategist 2023 Award. She will be considered for a feature article in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and she will be featured on the famous Nasdaq billboard in Times Square NYC. She will receive her recognition as Top Business Strategist and Empowered Woman of the Year at IAOTP’s Annual Gala at the iconic Plaza Hotel in NYC this December. She recently received special recognition from theL.A. Tribune for Global Leadership.
Lori has been featured on major television networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and over 500 other media platforms. She received the Lifetime Presidential Service Award and the Global Visionary Leader Award for her exceptional work. Additionally, Lori was chosen as an official speaker for the Think & Grow Rich World Legacy Tour.
Aside from her successful career, Lori is an active writer who publishes in many publications annually and has authored several books. She recently co-authored a book with Kevin Harrington from the television show Shark Tank. Lori supports international literacy, cancer research, youth entrepreneurship, and military activities. As a literacy expert, she was honored to be invited by the Bush family a few years ago to help raise more than $3 million for reading initiatives nationwide.
Looking back, Lori attributes her success to her perseverance, education, and love for life. When not working, Lori enjoys the outdoors, primarily hiking and camping. She also loves to travel, fine dining, play Battleship, and spend time with her son. For the future, she hopes to encourage all those around her to experience as much as possible of what life has to offer and continue to help people accomplish their goals. She willbe launching her WORLD TOUR in 5 countries and 6 U.S. cities in 2024 and will be launching new initiatives with her nonprofit organization, ‘the Charlie Foundation,” which is an organization that supports Literacy efforts in communities worldwide.
