LinkOptimizer for InDesign Now Supports Adobe Creative Cloud 2024
Toronto, ON, Canada – October 16, 2023 – Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of LinkOptimizer 6.1.23, a compatibility update to company’s image workflow automation plug-in for Adobe InDesign. LinkOptimizer liberates InDesign users from time-consuming repetitive tasks by streamlining complex image manipulation processes. After editing images in Photoshop, LinkOptimizer reimports files to InDesign at 100% in their precise position.
The new version adds compatibility with the recently released InDesign and Photoshop 2024. The update is offered free of charge to licensed users. In addition, the new update addresses an issue where sharpening filters could be applied twice to the top layer of a layered image if the file contained a hidden layer.
“This is the best extension I ever purchased for any design app,” says Wayne Guy of Edge Graphics in Van Nuys, California. “It saves hours of time, tediously replacing linked images, resizing and batch processing. Worth every penny… If you’re a designer or production artist that works with large inDesign files with lots of images, like catalogs or magazines, you need this.”
LinkOptimizer harnesses the power of Photoshop to eliminate the excess image data of InDesign links, convert image formats, and perform essential image adjustments such as color conversion and sharpening. For example, with just a click of a button users can:
–Batch process InDesign files and books
-Scale and crop images to match their dimensions in InDesign
-Convert RGB images to specific CMYK profile
-Change their resolution to 300 dpi
–Convert PNG links to PSD, and much more.
As a result users can save countless hours of optimizing images manually and gigabytes of disk space, accelerate document output, reduce job turnaround, and cut costs through faster processing.
Pricing and Availability:
LinkOptimizer can be purchased from Zevrix website for US$259.95 (Lite version: $179.95) as well as from Adobe Exchange and authorized resellers. Trial is also available for download. The update is free for LinkOptimizer 6.x users and $130 to upgrade from previous versions. LinkOptimizer requires macOS 10.12-14.x and Adobe InDesign / Photoshop CS6-2024.
